Aberdeen Flashmob

Was anyone around for today’s flashmob??

Unfortunately I found out about it too late but here’s the video of a bunch of folk striking random poses and holding them for five minutes infront of the St.Nicholas Shopping Centre:

Falshmob:

A flash mob is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual action for a brief time, then quickly disperse. ( – Wikipedia)

Today’s Flashmob:

The first flashmob will be named: “The Day Aberdeen Stood Still”. This will entail those taking part to strike a random pose outside the St. Nicholas Centre (see above) at the sound of the air horn. This pose will be held until the second air horn sounds (5 minutes later). ( – their Facebook site)

I’ve spent so long focussed on verses eleven to thriteen of this passage, I completely missed this wonderful part just before it. Thanks to Tom for pointing it out!

snow . . .

I don’t really like it. It’s too cold. And idiots like to throw it at you. And when it turns to ice it makes walking anywhere take forever. And when it turns to slush it looks horrible.

However, it isn’t quite as wet as rain and is nice to watch when your sitting inside with a cup of tea and your fleecy blanket.

So here’s today’s snow:

It’s still falling though . . . going to make the rugby tomorrow very interesting . . .

First time we came to view our house when it was up for sale, I knew straight away that we’d buy it and I knew exactly which room would be mine. Here’s why:

Will be gutted to leave it behind next year but I guess that’s why God invented cameras
