Make Poverty History

I was reminded the other day of this video which moved me in 2005 to play my small part in the Make Poverty History campaign. I wrote to MPs and the Prime Minister, attended a meeting with my local MP, spoke about it at church, ranted about it to my friends and forced my parents to take us to Edinburgh for our first protest march. Unfortunately, the G8 didn’t go far enough at the time, its promises are yet to be fufilled, and this is still the reality of life for millions of children around the world.

  1. You made me go on my first and to date only protest march. Watching that video I think we need another one soon.
